Client Water For South Sudan (WFSS) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to deliver sustainable quality-of-life services to the people of South Sudan by efficiently providing access to clean, safe water and improving hygiene and sanitation practices in areas of great need.
Situation WFSS needed a new website.
Challenge Besides needing to be responsive and have a backend content managing system, the site had grown organically and required a completely new user experience. It needed to be streamlined and easy to navigate as many of the donors are school-age. They had a wealth of beautiful videos and photographs to tell their story that was not being used. The existing site had heavy traffic, so we needed to be careful to maintain the existing SEO. And it needed an effective donation platform.
Solution K2 went through an extensive website review with our team. We reviewed every existing page and did a comprehensive wireframe design. We trained them to migrate existing pages to the new site and update all the content to save the client money.
Results Following the launch of the website, WFSS has flourished. Project totals as of March 29, 2021 stats are 488 Wells drilled, 203 wells rehabbed, 502 hygiene trainings given. The site is modern, simple to use, and beautiful, telling the complete story.
