K2 Communications was given a unique opportunity to help the Rochester Institute of Technology show Thomas Golisano the positive impact he’s had on our community. The exhibit we designed for RIT reflects the tremendous positive impact made by Mr. Golisano in three important areas: entrepreneurial business development, community building, and support for non-profit organizations dedicated to a variety of social and educational needs.
Images depicting Mr. Golisano’s achievements and service were printed on frosted acrylic panels and cut into three shapes representing the areas of his impact. The acrylic plaques were arranged to visually depict the flow of Mr. Golisano’s business endeavors, shown with square shapes, leading into his briefcase. Community involvement and philanthropy, the products of those endeavors, flow outward and are represented by ovals and hearts.
A screened back panel lists all organizations that have benefited from his generosity and that of his foundation.
Mr. Golisano enjoyed the exhibit, and the event launching The B. Thomas Golisano Archives at RIT was a success. We were honored to be part of it.
A special thanks to Scale 2 Display & Graphics for their wonderful work.
